Our Founder
Lion Advisory's Founder and Managing Director, Lorraine Mattis, is a Chartered Tax Adviser with over 20 years of experience in personal taxation. Prior to establishing LION she worked in 'Big 4' and boutique firms in London’s West End, the City and Canary Wharf, gaining a wealth of relevant know-how and experience.
She has worked with and acted for family offices, entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, senior corporate and private equity executives, entertainment and media industry-based individuals, international performers and sports professionals.
Lorraine has a broad private client tax knowledge and understands the tax issues and requirements of wealthy clients and their families. During her career she has lived in various countries as well as the UK, including Jersey, Singapore, and Monaco. Therefore, she can draw on personal experiences and insights regarding leaving the UK, becoming resident, and living in different countries/jurisdictions, and resuming residency in the UK. Not all advisers can fully or truly appreciate these considerations and challenges if they have not been experienced first-hand.
Lorraine heads Lion Advisory’s team of tax specialists and has overall responsibility for the day to day running of the practice, including operations, finance, HR and marketing.
